My three year old sneaked out of bed and found a sample of baby detergent, opened it and came back with some in his mouth! I rinsed his mouth thoroughly, should j be concerned?

Call poison control, 800 222 1222. They will tell you whether you need to go to the ER or what else to do. Have the pack with you so you can tell them what exactly he ingested.

My 2 year old did this once, 5 minutes before candlelighting on Shabbos! I called poison control and they were knowledgeable and reassuring. Hatzlacha!

My kid once ate an entire package of birth control!!!!!!!
Once a kid of mine ate a little bit of bleach!!!!
In my experience, poison control usually says that unless the kid is having symptoms, the little bit they had is fine.

This sounds like good news. When everything is calm again, please consider locking up household chemicals of any kind.

Yes the house is usually safe and detergents are high up. I had a sample of baby detergent in my room he reached a kid szizzors( which he is old enough to use) and cut the sample open! He has good luck he is very cute he gets away with too many things!

Please note though that AFAIK detergent for dishwashers is VERY dangerous (op this is not what you are dealing with). Keep it locked away and out of reach.
