I suffered from migraines for so long! Really bad and painful with strong medicine. Tried everything and could not find the real cause. Now that I'm not nursing for a few weeks already I realized my migraines are gone! Bh!! Any connection??

I'd guess dehydration.
ETA: or hormones can play a factor.

I've never heard of a link but now you mention it, I'd had literally one migraine in my entire life before I had my first baby. I nursed her and had migraines fairly frequently during that time. I also had then after the birth of my second, although I don't think it was as many.

My sil experienced something like this. I think she figured out that if she woke at night to nurse she ended up with migraines. So her husband took over night feedings.

It could very well be dehydration. Nursing mothers need to drink ALOT. Every time I nurse I try and drink 2 cups of water after.

That. And hormones. I had to nurse very regularly or the build up would give me a migraine.
