How old are your kids? What time do they go to sleep and wake up in the summer and do you feel it works well? Mine are: 16, 14, 12, 10. What do you think is reasonable for them?

Every child needs a different amount of sleep. My kids are similar ages to yours and bedtime is anywhere between 8 and 12. Once the kids reach high school there isn't really a bedtime as they have social happenings which may keep them up past what should be there bedtime. My 10 year old needs very little sleep. If she's in bed before ten she just tosses and turns till at least 10 pm. She's been going to sleep after 10:30 since school finished. She has no problem waking up in the morning and never misses the bus. My 17 yet old sometimes goes to sleep before her!
