I bought the paraffin oil and it says that it should be only used with a special glass and a special wick. I light with olive oil and decided to try this and now I am not sure if I can use it. Any advice? thanks

there is a tremendous smoke comes if you don't use the special glass. It can be very, very dangerous. I did it and the flame gets so big that it's scary. Not safe. Don't use it if you are not going to buy the glasses and wicks.
