One day I went through a whole bunch of Abie Rottenberg's old English songs and literally cried through them. I rarely hear any other Jewish songs as beautiful and emotional as those. Thinking of Conversation in the Womb, the one about the sifrei Torah post war... YouTube will probably suggest more.

I also love Avraham Fried's oldies, like Don't Hide From Me, My Fellow Jew, No Jew Will Be Left Behind...

I grew up Litvish, then married a Chossid with strong Lubavitch ties (though no longer Lubavitch). When DH asked me to walk down to the Chuppa to Daled Bavos, I couldn't do it, as I had no appreciation for it's beauty. Now, a few year later, I find it to be truly inspiring and deep! It's a Niggun though, not a song.

there are two of his songs that fit that description, though both are beautiful. there's "The Place Where I Belong" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v0PwSI4aJcI and "The Man From Vilna" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iEh_XxmekFo
This song always gets to me: "My Little One" by Ira Heller https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O6mx3J1PwPI

Melech Malchei Hamlachim, Todah Al Chaim.
I first heard it on Project Relax by Simcha Leiner and Baruch Levine, but I think this is the original by Eyal Golan:

Oldie but goodie - Yerushalayim (harim saviv la) on Ruach 6. Vehi sheamda on the same tape also moves me, it's a faster song.
Since we're getting obscure, I found a beautiful CD in a reduced bin (sorry, Kranzlers) by Dr. Elie Kranzler and his daughter. I love Im amarti mata ragli on it. I think perek 94 is my favorite perek in Tehillim.

This is an interesting question. I know that there are some fantastic songs but generally, when I need inspiration I go to performers whose sound just gets me going.
