DD needs to open a bank account now to deposit her savings which she will withdraw a set amount from every month in Israel.
Which banks are best regarding transaction fees and withdrawing money in Israel? We are located in NY.
Any info would be appreciated.

TD has a premium account that waves all fees at the end of the month if there is a certain balance (iirc its $1500).
Swiping TD ATM cards in stores is free - no foreign transaction fee. If that helps you...

Get the right credit card. Amex has a good one. No international transaction fee, and no atm fee.
