Looking to switch over to rechargeable electric toothbrushes for my family.
I see good ones are quite pricey.
Is there any system that works with multiple heads for different kids?

We have been satisfied with Braun Oral B products (effective, long-lasting). The regular price for the basic model is about $50, but they have sales at chain stores every so often. I got a very good deal at Walgreens. We use a toothbrush holder for the different heads.

ETA: our first Oral B lasted 15+ years, but YMMV of course.

recently my daughter was told by her dentist that her electric toothbrush wasn't brushing as good as a regular one & was also too rough on the gums

I personally find the vibration to give me a headache

Interesting. Our dentist strongly recommends using it. I guess it depends on each person's individual needs.

I would get everyone their own electric toothbrush. Bedtime will take forever if one kid likes to brush for 10 minutes straight, and all the others are waiting for their turn.

The kids will mix up the brush heads, no matter how much you color code them. Injecting other people's mouth bacteria into your gums can lead to infection.

They will slobber down on the handle of the toothbrush, and unless you wash it really well between each kid, you are going to be sharing a lot of germs. Normally this isn't such a big deal, until you get to flu season. Puke
