My friend will be watching my kids for a few hours , want to buy her kids a gift. Any suggestions for those ages? Or should I rather buy her something?

step into your local toy store and ask them what's popular for that age kids.

I would rather get something.
I guess the question is also if her kids dont have many toys or you know she wants another toy for her kids.

If it's just for a few hours then I guess you're looking for something on the smaller side. I've seen kids that age get a lot of play out of the Melissa and Doug reusable sticker books. There are a few styles. Kind of similar to colorforms of my childhood but nicer.
