I'm moving into a house with granite counters. Granite has deep-ish scratches all over. They aren't so much scratches, more like mini-chipped off all over but not exactly chipping. Don't know what to call it. Micro-grooves?
What can be done about it and whom do I call (it could be originally from Home Depot)? A handyman, a granite place, home depot?
Looks like it could use some type of sanding or polishing that would take off a thin coat of the stone. Does smth like this exist?
Thank you

I would call a granite shop and ask if they can recommend someone who can refinish the countertop and repair chips.
If you want to DIY, you could try a granite repair kit like this one (I have not used this product): https://smile.amazon.com/Acryl.....r+kit but they're not really intended for chips or grooves all over.
Also, if the grooves are actually fissures, the counter may not be repairable.
