Style advice needed!
I am expecting B"H and the walls of my nursery are a light gray. The crib is white with gray on the headboard. Changing table/dresser will probably be white with gray drawers. What color rug should I get for the floors (they are hardwood floors)? I was originially thinking a gray and white patterned one (keep any other colors to the linen and accessories once I find out the gender) but now im wondering if I should bring in a splash of color with the rug? I dont mind waiting until after the baby is born to buy the rug- SO should I go with blue/pink then? Stick with gray and white? just gray/just white? yellow? purple? Multicolored?
I will buy a rocking chair to match

pale yellow or mint green for a soft nursery look. both are gender neutral.
bright orange or teal for a bright, fun look.

Mint green, lilac, pink, light blue yellow. Basically any pastel color would do.

I would definitely bring in another color. lavender for softer neutral look. med. shade of pink for girl or aqua blue for boy. with definite gender color I wouldn't go light rather more bold.

I would go with a bright color, fuchsia or teal (which I would use for either gender), bright yellow or orange. Grey gets kinda boring after a while.

I'd go for yellow or pear green, which are cheerful and gender-neutral colours.

bright yellow accents is really nice and just one or two items will make the room complete, as far as color. or pale yellow if you want a softer look.
yellow or purple are neutral so you can shop now and also not tie yourself down for your next one IYH.

Teal! I think that teal and gray is very trendy now, and will look very chic. To me, gray and orange is very dated. If you have a girl, a bright pink (not pastel) could be a fun pop of color. Blue for a boy would look washed out, but pear would be nice.
I still think teal is the best neutral color that would work no matter what.
If you want something more fun and kid-friendly, get one of those rugs that has a pattern of streets and a little city on it. It's perfect for toy cars, dolls, etc. https://www.google.co.il/searc.....AQIGQ

Love ochre with gray and white. I would have done that but we stuck with just gray and white as rugs were too impractical.

Coordinate with least dominate bright color on the linen you buy
I'd also get other accessories ( a lamp, clock, frame...) in the color of the rug you decide to go with more neutral linen
Look on pinterest at gray and white nurseries for inspiration

I think a deep purple (not lavender or lilac) would be great. I like darker rugs that won't show the inevitable nursery stains so much. (Hello spirit on the floor!). Deep plums and purples are great with grey and bring in some gender neutral color.

I really like this brand for rugs and they have a great selection of kids rugs. Safe bedding (with no quilt or bumper) is pretty basic so I'd add interest to the room with the rug and then some wall decor. Wait until the baby is born so you can go more gender specific
A lot of these would look great with gray walls:

Both light blue or light or dark pink would look great. Teal and grey would be very boyish to me.

It's very in style now to do gender neutral colors in nurseries. think lilac or jade green, or yellow, all neutral colors. Pottery barn has some pretty ones, bit pricey though. I would also buy matching throw pillows or a blanket to tie it all together
Also check out Joss and Main.
