What are nice colors for kids rooms? There's a neutral grey carpet and beige carpet in the rooms so most colors will match. I don't want to do the traditional one room pink, one room blue, that I grew up with because over time I don't know which rooms my kids will end up in. I want light colors. I was thinking to maybe do a very very light purple in one room.
Besides for a color, if you can please post specific brand and color names.
I love yellows and greens. They're very warm colors and will match. I would do yellow with the gray carpet and green with beige.
Do you want to do a softer look or more bold? I have a bunch of colors in my house and I'd be happy to give you color names.
I know you said not the traditional look of pink and blue but I did one very hot pink accent wall in my girls' room and I love it. It's pink, but not the typical soft pink look. (Benjamin Moore Peony)
