There are just two of us for the next couple of weeks. The kids are all in sleepaway. Any easy to prepare dinner ideas? Some things we've tried: Soup and sandwich, scrambled eggs, pasta and cheese...
Anything else?

Do something quick on the stove like pan grilled chicken cutlets, fluffed rice and quick salad.
Meat stuffed tacos topped with avocado tomato salad.
Pan seared tilapia with quinoa salad.

Are there any grown up foods that don't usually make it to the dinner menu-either because they are disliked, or the foods are too expensive to make for the whole family? I would go with foods from those categories.

Great idea!
Never thought about it...DH and I both love fresh fish but can never afford to serve it to the whole crew. Also steak...yum!
