Someone is selling the 4 moms mamarro (think that's what it's called :/) for $150. My husband heard it's great for babies. I have a newborn so was thinking of buying it but don't know if it's used instead of a swing and if it's all it's talked up about. I may be able to get a swing from a friend for free or buy this for $150 (discounted). Any opinions on if it's worth it?

Never tried that kind of thing, but to me, it is just asking for trouble, for the mechanism to jam or something and then your are stuck... with a regular swing, even if it malfunctions you can always manually swing it

I don't know. You can only use it until your baby starts sitting up, which is often at or before 6 months, so it isn't a long term item. It depends on how much you see yourself using it. And you cannot use it on shabbos because it can't be manually pushed.
