I wasn't up to cooking much so just made onion and garlic bread and onion soup. Both were a big hit.

Yes but it takes away my headache and settles my stomach.
Even in the morning my stomach feels blah until I have my coffee.
It's not the heat it's the actual caffeine. Decaf won't do it for me.

I love coffee too, but not at 9 PM! If you're a coffee drinker AND take pills during fasts (I do!), than 100mg of caffeine in the morning and another in early afternoon will keep you from getting a caffeine withdrawal headache and will also keep you from ricocheting off the ceiling at midnight.

I have no problem drinking a cup or 2 and going to sleep 1 hr later.
But THANKYOU that you are so concerned.
My stomachs is in knots from not having it a whole week.
Don't know why, but it settles my stomach.j
I will throw up if I don't drink coffee first after a fast, and once I start throwing up it can last for hours.
Don't know why, but that's just me

And for short fast days, as long as I have a cup or 2 in the am, before the fast starts I can fast till the next morning no problem.
