She is a play therapist that was recommended to me in woodmere. Does anyone have experience with her? How is she? Did you see progress with her?

Only that I went to her as a kid and I wasn’t the most cooperative client Smile

My impression from talking to my mother about it later on is that she’s good at what she does and play therapy wasn’t what I needed. And when I wasn’t getting anywhere with her she recognized that and referred us to someone else.

I love her. Used her for two of my boys with anxiety and she helped us a lot. She’s a great therapist for young children like under 10. Highly recommend her.

Fwiw there’s contradiction on play therapy usefulness. I was looking into it & psychologist recommended against it...

Dr Zelinger is a psychologist and play therapist. Half the session is talking and half watching the kid play. Her play room is amazing and my kids loved going. And it helped their anxiety

Thank u! Glad to hear some positive feedback she was highly recommended for anxiety but was just wondering if she can connect with the children well
