I'm planning a trip near spring valley and looking for ideas what I can do. I heard Bear Mountain State Park is nice and not too far but I have a 9 month old baby and was told that it's not a place to go with a baby. Anyone have any ideas please?
I would love a nice musuem too....

I've gone to bear mountains with babies. just have a stroller that can recline if he needs a nap and you're good to go. it's a great place.
you can also try Rockland lake or havestraw bay park.
I can't think of any museums in MOnsey. others can maybe help with that.

Have you been to rockland lake recently? I thought I heard that its closes permanantly.

they are not closed but they don't offer bike or boat rentals on grounds. there is a bike rental up the road from them.
they also installed a really nice park for kids.

Palisades mall has lots of entertainment including a Dave n busters and a ferris wheel and it's nice to walk around in.

the rental is called congers bike rental.

There's Nyack Beach State Park. Beautiful place for a stroll, biking, or a hike.
