As winter approaches I'm looking for suggestions for toys for my precocious 2.5 year old daughter.

She enjoys thinking and building activities more than imaginative play...examples include puzzles, magnatiles, books, and the melissa and doug magnetic toy. We've had all those toys for a while and I'm looking for the next level activity/toy that will keep her thinking and busy in the afternoons.

Any suggestions (not looking to spend a fortune Smile would be most welcome.

Thanks!

Gear building toys are great. There are a bunch of different ones on Amazon.

When I want that kind of toy I go to https://www.fatbraintoys.com

I got a bunch for my nephew who is sick, he loved them all.

(No I don't get a commission or anything, just a happy customer)
