1 girl elementary = 4500
3 boys elementary = 3500 ea
3 boys high school = 6500 ea
These are chassidish schools in BP. Don't know if it's full tuition or not, bec school develops a relationship with you and then asks for what they feel you can pay...
My entire salary goes to tuition and babysitting. Doesn't even cover camps

I just want to thank you for starting this thread. This made me realize that there's no way (unless the government does something) that my family should stay in the US and keep on paying these high tuitions! Unless we decide to take them to public schools (which I'm not crazy about the idea, especially when they're so young). Sorry, now I rather make an aliyah then stay and live poor over. I already prefer to live poor but happy in Israel.
We just started sending them to a yeshiva (modern orthodox) this year.
Pre-K (UPK) is just a little over $1000
Kindergarten costs $11,000
Both boys
We're paying full amount of $12,000 this year.
I already got a letter for the first day they're already asking for extra money for things (like little things for books/shirts...) and that just drove me crazy already because we're paying enough money!!! It's ridiculous. Sorry for the anger post.... |
Sit in school and observe for 24 hrs or more if you have the time. Guaranteed!! You will change your frame of mind way before that. This misconception is due to us not having any clue to the running of a school.

Sorry for being anon. This isn't to be mean. But the flip side is "high income" people getting squeezed out.

I hope salaries match the tuition...
I do think many people would be better off OOT/in places with vouchers. They exist.
AFAIK my school is the only French one on the document. Cheaper exists if you go for kulo kodesh and simply tell many Chabad schools you can't do better
