My 5 year old daughter got the chicken pox vaccine this past sunday and she got a really bad reaction on the area of the shot . She's in pain, its red and hot to touch, looks blistery and blotchy. The doctor told me when she got the shot it might become swollen and I should put ice on it. But its more than just swollen . She keeps on waking up at night from pain.
Did anyone have a similar situation?

Ouch. It sounds like an infection. Do you have Bactroban at home?

This should be seen by a doctor.
