Is it possible to get full size duvet covers anywhere??? Everywhere I look I only see the size full/queen which is really queen size and our Duvet is too small for it (it is size full), is slides all over the cover

Me too! Also, the least expensive ones I've found are $30 each, and that's not even for cotton, it's polyester or microfiber.

only the jewish stores sell them. if you tell them the measurements of your covers they
custom size the duvet.
another thing that you can to, is sew a seam through the length of the duvet and make it smaller.
I have never done it , but was thinking about it. The corner chinese dry cleaners shouldnt charge much forthat.

The Company Store not only sells full size, but they are great quality, too.

My mother always does that very successfully.

you can always get a full/queen down blanket to go with the full/queen duvet

also check in bed bath & beyond, tj maxx

alternatively if you can sew a straight line you can even purchase flat sheets & sew them down on 3 sides & add snaps to the 4th side

Thanks for your reply, every non jewish store I checked didn't have it. I don't live so close to the jewish stores. I will try the Company one mentioned. I did think of sewing mine but they are stained so if I could find the right size I would just get a new one. I just find it strange that I was able to buy the blanket itself in Full from a non jewish store.
Thanks everyone!

you can order from the jewish stores. from elegant linen. they have beautiful and good stuff. I bought my linen there a short while ago and I love them. its not cheap though

http://elegantlinen.com/

I was able to buy an extra set of fitted sheets. you can order what you like. they will do custom orders. it sounds like you want that. its a good idea to call them. I have been shopping by them for many years. am really happy with the quality. no I dont own the store I wish I did. he has a couple of stores in brooklyn. I am sure many imamothers know this store.

I sew ribbons to the insides of the four corners and tie them around the corners of my full/queen quilts or comforters. This is great on any duvet cover since it keeps the quilts from shifting. Some higher end European duvet comforters come with these ties already installed.

(Anon since I've tipped my family onto this trick.)

Is the full size you mention really a twin size? I didn't like the look of the blanket not hanging down the sides so I bought full/queen blanket and the frum stores added onto the sides for me to make it fit. I bought different linen in century 21 that fit perfectly.

I googled "full size duvet cover" and got hits at Bed Bath & Beyond, Macy's, Ikea, Overstock, Amazon, Tesco, Potter Barn, Nordstrom, Kohls, JCPenney, WalMart, etc.

What's the problem finding these?
