Does anyone here do this
Can someone explain to me
Specifically an 8/16 plan
Is it simply less calories, or is there a metabolic component to this.
If you do this can you explain to me what you do eat.

My DH is doing it. From what I understand, you are cutting down on calories but more importantly teaching your body to eat less. There's also some component involving insulin that I didnt really understand.

That's what I needed to understand too.
Does it lower insulin production in the body.
Insulin is a fat storing hormone amongst other things.
I would love to. Know what he eats.
Does he start out his day with coffe or tea?
Does he bullet proof it?
Is his breaking fast meal high fat, what percentage?

He definitely has his coffee, but regular coffee, not bulletproof. He eats normally, not high fat, high protein though if possible.

I pulled up this thread because I am interested in fasting to resolve health issues.
What is bulletproof coffee? I've never heard this term before.

Thanks!
For a better-tasting coffee, or for some nutritional or energy benefits?

It's supposed to boost energy and metabolism. It also tastes pretty good.
