When making chicken soup, does it a make a difference to the final taste, if you put the vegetables at the bottom of the pot or on top of the chicken/bones ?

Please advise.

Many thanks

I have cooked the vegetables for a while before getting around to adding the chicken. I always simmer it for like 8 hours anyways.

Lol I do the opposite to lymnok, simmer the bones for a while and then add the vegetables.
The chicken bones are what give the flavour.
But if you're putting it all in at the same time I don't think it makes a differenc what's on the top or bottoms

so long as all the flavour is in the pot & you cook it together ... that's what makes it good
