What seminary did you go to?

I didn't' go to seminary. When I graduated school I was like, why would I go through another year of school?? Don't get me wrong, I liked school and I was a good student, but I was just thrilled to go out in the real world.... I guess its different strokes for different folks.

But the truth is...I don't know if I'd go back there as it is. Mrs. Tarshish was the main teacher and she really made the year for me. Her entire learning curriculum made an incredible impact on me, like no other teacher ever has. And I've had some wonderful teachers over the years. But she took everything to a whole new level.

Same here, but I went in 01-02.
I had an amazing year and I'm still very close with some of my friends from there. I can't believe it's been 14 years!
It's also the reason I live in Israel today.

Mrs. Tarshish was definitely my favorite teacher, but there were other teachers there who were also great - Rabbi Septimus, Rabbi Abramov, Rabbi Keleman.

The types of girls who go there now seem very different than in my day. I wonder if it's because Mrs. Tarshish left.

Not gonna post where but it was in95. One of the big mainstream BY seminaries in EY. I ABSOLUTELY HATED it. I found the teachers uninterested and coming from a small, warm school where it had a personal kesher with lots of my teachers I found it cold and impersonal.
