Do you stay in the house while self cleaning oven ? I know fumes are bad but I'm also nervous to leave self clean on with no one home ...

1) Open the windows

2) Run the vent fan above your range or cooktop.

3) If you have pet birds, keep them as far from the oven as possible. They are very sensitive to the fumes.
