DD12 has breasts and hair I all those places, has done for over 2 years now, but has not started menstruating. Should I be worried? Should I get her checked? If it makes any difference, I started my period age 11.

If everything else is normal I wouldn't worry at age 12. Personally I wouldn't take my daughter to the pediatrician for no period until age 14.

12 is not at all late. Don't worry. And don't make her worry by making an issue of it.

Like others have said, 12 is not late. I was almost 14 when I got mine.
