A roast cooked to "rare" as opposed to "well done" I would assume.

story-time: when my kids were younger & I had already been divorced [not sure if that part matters] a family friend down the block invited us often for friday night shabbos dinner ... once she served a rare roast & sonny boy was like is that pork because he had never seen a rare roast & none of us ate [unless my carnivore did cause she would eat a raw cow & always wants food before it's cooked]
few shabbosim later the husband & wife were semi-arguing/complaining about how burnt the roast was ... happily we all ate it for them
