Sometimes people crack their voices on purpose for an emotional effect, but that is after years of practice. When someone does it without intention, it often indicates singing the wrong way I.e from the throat and not the stomach. Her talent is that she looks good and sings in an emotional way, which is very unusual for a young girl. Time will tell if voice lessons and maturing turn her into the best singer ever or not. I was hoping Sofie or Victor would win, they were captivating and stunning.

It's intentional, she's just not very good at it yet. Personally I don't care for that style of singing, although it is not uncommon and quite popular lately. She is a roomful of personality, though!
