I haven't shopped for yom tov clothes for myself in a long while. I have little kids and am nursing, so I have to keep that in mind. I won't have time to go to more than one store/area, so I have to make it count. Where do yiu recommend?

(For reference, frum leaning towards yeshivishe, average height and weight, don't want to spend a fortune, but expect to pay up to $150 ish for a dress/outfit)

Before going out to stores, did you check on line.
Macys, lord and Taylor, off fifth, Nordstrom rack, Ann Taylor.
I live OOT, I always find in these stores. Never do I find in the Brooklyn stores.

Go to Fallon's. I got four beautiful dresses today for a total of $390. I love that place!

Op.

Fallons sounds interesting! I've never heard of them. Hours?

Is anyone else totally not feeling the t shirt dress trend? I've seen some people it looks ok on, but for me, it emphasizes all my problem areas, and I think on most people it looks like a swimming cover up ir something.

Do they cater to a young crowd only or would a middle aged woman on the bigger size do well there?

Op here.

So I tried fallons and fashion island. Both had nice stuff and nice staff, but I didn't find anything. I also tried century 21 and macys, with no luck. I have a simcha this week and all of yom tov coming up--where else can I try?

Did you try forever young? It's a similar idea to fallons, but they have different clothes as well. They have great prices. Let me know if you need location

Thanks for the suggestions.
Follow up questions:
Where is forever young?

Do unique botique and elzees cater only to a younger crowd? (I'm 30, and though I'm relatively slender, clothing meant for a teen won't flatter me!)

What type of clothing does le bon carry?

Op again.

Any other recommendations for not jewish stores? I think if I could find things that are long enough, that would suit me better than the styles I'm seeing in the frum stores. Tha nks!
