Just to add color? Or to add sleeve, length, etc, for tzniut.
For color add a belt, matching shoes, necklace and bracelets. In other wards accessorize. You may want to add a nice printed silk scarf instead, if you are into that, or maybe a solid color sweater worn open.
Personally I would do maroon heels, a maroon sweater worn open, and a black belt around the sweater. Nice gold jewelry.
If you want to add for tzniut, I would add a ruffled sleeve in black lace.

To add a colorblock to lengthen the sleeves and hem would look good. Add a bow od the same fabric to bring it together.
Use a color you love that is complimentary on you.

I don't think its worth is to add to this dress, even though its a nice dress! To make it tznius you would have to add to the sleeves and the bottom. And the bottom is hard to add onto to make it look normal....have you looked at asos? They have longer dresses.
If you really wanted to add to this (make sure its worth it for the price) I would cut the sleeves, add fabric in the middle, and have the seamstress add the cut pieces back (instead of adding by bottom, you added to middle so it looks more neat). For bottom I would do same.

Think of a contrasting color you like that goes with black. Find a blouse of that color with a fancy ruffle collar, and get the same color feather or flower pin to stick to one side of dress top. Same color fabric for adding to length. Seamstress can do length.

I ended up adding a peice of gray fabric at the bottom and a really pretty piece of burgandy leather lace to hide the seam....
I actually looks really classy- you would never guess it didn't come like that.
I'm deciding between a burgundy cardigan (less dressy), a shell (black/gray?), or a blouse (may be to many colors)?
Gray tights? Black? Nude?
Maroon flats? Black heels? Gray shoes?

It looks like all it needs is a 3/4 black shell so the sleeves are lengthened.
Add black tights and maroon flats or black heels depending on your mood.
