So I just picked up my daughters ages 5 and 9, black velour jumpers for Shabbos. It would easily go with a black shell but I don't love dressing little kids in all black. If like to put a different color shell underneath to make it a bit less severe. What color can I do that will still look shabbosdik? I was thinking burgundy/wine color or grey...

Colored shells are not in. A fancy colored headband is used to bring in color.

All black on a little girl is morbid in my book. I would do a frilly pink or white top underneath.

If you'd follow the "all black" opinions, I'd say at least do grey. That being said, I think a burgandy/wine would be really pretty.
