I'm trying to figure out with a family of 5, what makes sense in terms of bottled water deliveries. I've been spending 50$ on 3 .5 liter 24 count of water( 16.47$ ) plus 3 5 gallon water jugs( 25.47), 3.95$ for delivery, and 2.99$ for rental of cooler. Is that reasonable?! It feels like a lot to spend on water!! I order from ready refresh nestle. Any less expensive way to do this? Thanx.

Is your tap water poor quality?

Yeah. A Brita filter. Change the filter once a month. Boom. Done.
Seriously, unless you're in a third-world country, why buy bottled water?

I like the water cooler at work. The colder the water the more I drink. Why not just fill up your own bottles from the gallon jugs?

We were spending around the same on our water cooler (7 bottles every 2.5 weeks or so) we actually invested in a fridge with a filter in it. That way no need to remember to refill the brita (we drink a LOT) you can get a floor model side by side with water filter for about $700. Then you have oceans water. We kept the cooler for shabbos and YT.

Yea Nestles and most bottled H2O is just tap water with a lot of recycling issues. I love my Brita.

Why are you spending money on bottled water? Is the tap water in your area undrinkable? Because you should know that much bottled water is nothing more than municipal water from Anywhere, USA, that has been bottled. It is not necessarily any purer or more healthful than your own city water supply. Unless, of course, you live in Flint, MI.
