Not sure if this would be suitable - Rebbetzin Twersky in Pittsburg or Milwaukee - not really sure what I'm thinking of - she writes for Binah maybe or another magazine.

Rav Schlesinger is very difficult to get through to and basically impossible to get through if you don't have a prior kesher...

She's from Milwaukee. Rebeitzen Feigie Twerski.

I'm not sure what the OP means by open minded. I don't know what she really wants.
I do know that when my family went to him for advice for certain situations we were pretty surprised with his response and advice. We were not expecting such "open-minded" advice.

I guess open-minded means different things to different people.
I was personally surprised to see that more than one person recommendReb. Weiss. I've only heard her speak a few times but she didn't come across as open-minded to me.

What about a Rabbi/Rebitzen who isn't chassidish (litvish/yeshvish) but has a lot of experience working with and guiding the more open minded not traditional chassidish community?

Rabbi and Mrs. Skaist come to mind - I'm sure there are others.....

I am not chassidish, and would probably be considered fairly modern by chassidish standards. I know Reb Weisz irl, and I've found her to be an incredibly open minded person. I was able to discuss anything and everything with her and found her to be very open and unafraid to candidly discuss any topic, with a lot of depth and foresight.

I've never heard her speak in public, so I don't know how she comes across then. Perhaps she was catering to the specific crowd she was addressing, though honestly I have no idea. I know that many prominent chassidish figures find her to be too open minded.
