We serve salads. The multiple courses are too much for us.

Salads and/or non mayo dips here also. One of my kids has been more interested in his veggies in salad form lately so I make sure to have at least one or two in the fridge. If its cold a vegetable soup of some sort.

dip eggplant slices in egg and seasoned cornflake crumbs. Fry slices or bake on oiled cookie sheet for half hour at 375 degrees. Serve atop rice; dribble tomato sauce on top .
Meat knishes: Brown ground white meat chicken, mixed with ketchup, paprika and onion powder to taste in a little oil for about twenty minutes. Fill large pre-packaged flaky dough circles (Brush edges with egg as described on package), fold over into triangles, crimp edges. You can smear the tops with egg and sesame seeds. Bake according to directions on flaky dough package. Serve hot with mushroom sauce.

Thanks. What is the difference between wonton wrappers and egg rolls (mind my ignorance)?

Egg rolls are onions coleslaw and pastrami sautéed. You fill egg roll wrappers and then fry them. They make two separated frozen wrappers

Here's my latest go to appetizer and it's always a hit and so easy- hot pastrami sliders!
Buy slider buns -and sliced pastrami. Warm up the pastami before serving, fill the buns generously and stick a pretty toothpick in middle. Garnish plate with with some sauces like spicy mayo, mustard, ketchup (I'll do something pretty like a small circle of each) or fried onion or Cole slaw...
