My kishka never comes out perfect
I don't follow a particular recipe because that's how my mother makes it,
It eaither comes out too hard or too soft, sometimes it's too tasty and other times tastless, anyone has a good easy recipe ?

I like vegetable kishka from Lubavitch cook book (Spice and Spirit).

Why? its very good. What type of recipe are you looking for?
I also have one recipe with lots of cornflake crumbs that is more solid and is good to make khishka like muffins.
And I also have one that is flour based that makes great dumplings in the cholent (like matza balls) rather then a wrapped log.

Does he have to know what's in it? I would never eat cooked carrots and neither will my husband, yet we eat this kishka. I skip onion though.

I make that one as well. No one has ever guessed that it was vegetables. It is really good!
