The Hungarian specification will throw people off I don't think you mean rukot krumply though maybe you just want a variety of goulash dishes.
In either case, you can look through this thread for great ideas like
http://www.imamother.com/forum.....cipes
20 clove garlic paprika chicken
Saucy meatballs
Hearty beef stew
Honey BBQ chicken and sweet potatoes
Sesame chicken
And many more

I guess make a goulash in the crockpot and serve wth either mashed potqatoes or egg noodles.
Also, I looked it up and don't know if Ungarische Yidden ate this, but it looks like a good dish, called Uveg (Sticky Chicken)
Oil or schmaltz (I used Jacks' facon and oil when making this for variety)
1 chicken cut up or the equivalent chicken parts, skin on. (Do not use boneless chicken)
1 large onion peeled and chopped
2 cups of raw white rice, washed in cold water and slightly drained
1 heaping Tbs. of Hungarian Paprika
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 green or banana pepper chopped
1 Bay leaf
1 1/2 cups water
6 peeled and seeded fresh tomatoes chopped -OR- 1 can of whole tomatoes, not drained but pulled apart
You brown the chicken pieces in the fat. You layer the rice and veggie mixture in the crockpot with the chicken and cover with water. I didn't make it in a crockpot, but I'm sure you could.
