There is no guest pass at Costco. BJ's has guest passes which are one day passes.

If you choose to tag along with someone who is a member, then you cannot use a credit card. You can only use a debit card or cash.

In addition to tagging along with a member, you have the option of having your friend buy you a gift card. With a gift card you do not need to accompany a member to Costco. The minimum is $10 and she can buy it at the checkout counter along with her groceries. If you come to Costco with a $10 gift card then there is no limit how much you can buy.

If you want to have real fun, you can invite 5 friends to accompany a Costco member and Costco will let them each pay for their own stuff with cash or debit card. The hard part is getting the packages to fit inside the car. Cool

They do NOT take Mastercard, Amex or Discover

2. Bank debit card

3. EBT (food stamps)

Note: If you tag along with another member, then you should probably bring along cash or a debit card. Not sure if they will let you use a credit card if you come as a tag along.
