I've heard rumors that Kanye joked that he would run for president. Now that we have our first reality tv president, Donald Trump, is a Kanye West presidency more likely??? Kim K as First Lady???

He's said it more than once, and he seems quite serious about it. It certainly would be interesting! I have no idea what his political platform would be, though.

What makes you think that? My guess is that he's probably brilliant. He's certainly an excellent marketer, and at the very least collaborates on most of his songs. He's utterly unelectable (although I said the same of Trump), but brilliant.

But let's hope that someone comes up with a better candidate before that.

Exactly what I said when I heard Trump won.

And IMO it is a very likely possibility.
If Trump can win, why can't Kanye? He is an equally good marketer, salesman, extremely talented and artistic. Yes his clothing line is criminally ugly but he doesn't come close to the awful awful traits of Trump and Hillary.

Trump winning opened up a whole new world of elections and presidents.

If we are so happy with Trump and want more celebs - don't ya think Oprah has a better chance then Kanye?
As in I actually think liberals would go for her....

I think Kanye's fame got to his head. But I thought the same of trump....

Nope. He would be Trump 2.0. Many of the same ideas and priorities, only with more religion.

I think Kanye West is an extremely talented person, but I do not think is skillset covers the areas that are required to be the leader of one of the world's leading superpowers.
