I have to post amother because I know I'll be bashed, but I am so, so happy Trump won.

Not only do I think the media blew his personal characteristics WAY out of proportion, but I think the biggest issue is the ECONOMY, so why would I vote for someone that would continue the depressive policies of Barak "No-Growth GDP" Obama?

Trump may be "deplorable" morally, but Hillary is too. There is NO question about that. She's a liar and a con and she has sold America in her pay-for-play Clinton Foundation scandal.

I'm excited to have a fresh outsider! I'm excited to have a Republican! And I absolutely adore Mike Pence.

I'm sooooo happy that she lost. She did not deserve the presidency.

I don't know what kind of president Trump will be, but I do know what kind she would have been, and B"H she's not getting that chance.

With so many negative Trump posts, I hope this thread will be a chance for happy imamothers to celebrate this victory!

I will second your notion!

I am waiting for Obamacare to be repealed. I cant stand it. No good physicians take the stupid insurance, plans cost a fortune, if you do not work for a large company.

I am sick and tired of paying the way for people who come here (illegally) and do nothing at all to better their lives, other than to leach and milk the system for all it is worth.

I hope he follows through on his promise to lower income taxes.

And for all children, and parents, who can no longer do math homework with their 4th graders, because common core is impossible to comprehend, he is planning to get rid of it as well.

The people who are protesting and acting like fools by destroying other peoples stores, looting, breaking glass windows, and setting fires, are probably those that do nothing all day, get food stamps, Medicaid, and everything else, and are frustrated that their party is coming to an end.

What a darn shame. I have no mercy.

And if everyone is saying that he is good for Israel, I will assume that that includes the Jewish people as well.

And since he has a Jewish Son in Law and a daughter that converted, they have put their kids in yeshiva as well, I would assume, hopefully that he has respect for Jews.

what will be instead of obamacare? I also have it and I am very worried for what will be after? yes it might be expensive but private is so much more.

I agree one hundred percent with the core math. if my child was not good in math I would be in major trouble. I never know what the examples are talking about.

I am so happy too. And not embarrassed to use my SN. Still in shock, to be honest, but quite happy.

I'll admit, my happiness is more about Hillary losing that Trump wining. I still have reservations about him. But I am optimistic that he may very well surprise us all -- in a good way.

The country has many problems that neither our Democratic or Republican politicians have been able to solve. Glad to have a non-politican given the chance to shake things up. Let's see what he can do.

I think in the end, if the leftists can just calm themselves down and open their minds and recognize that Trump is not the leader of the Hitler Youth... I think they will be pleased to see that he will be a very moderate, middle of the road president. Yes, he campaigned with some very far-right ideas, but that's not who he has been most of his life. I might be wrong, but this is my gut feeling. Time will tell.

Does your Obamacare cover good doctors? Are top Manhattan doctors taking it? Most doctors worth anything say the the plans are garbage, so they don't even take it. At least with private insurance, I paid a lot, but I got something in return. Here, you pay and you get nothing, and even worse, you then have a massive deductible, and you have to pay out of pocket to see any respectable doctor whose office doesn't resemble a free clinic.

ok but I cant afford private insurance so I would end up with nothing. Bli ayin hara right now I am only using basic drs which yes I have good ones. If I need specialists that would be a different story but again I cant afford anymore than I am paying now so I would have nothing.

Do you have any proof that Trump supporters did that?

I disagree. I think the current resident of the White House is an anti-Semite and Israel hater. I think Trump/Pence will be a huge improvement in that regard.

And yet under President Obama aid to Israel was increased. (+ 40 billion).

Exactly how I feel.

And hopefully once he chooses his cabinet, we'll have a better sense of how things will play out.

Eta. I think part of this surprising happiness is that Trump has been a class act ever since the election.

He made it clear he wants to unify the country, he showed humility and graciousness by appealing to his haters to help him improve, he told Americans that he cares about them and they are not forgotten, and I just saw on cnn that he said meeting Obama was an honor.

It's like a different person from what we'd have expected. Where's Trump the Boor? (And let's hope Gracious Trump is here to stay!)

The Iran deal was very concerning, and also Obama's constant pressure on Netanyahu to stop the building

Eta. Here's another thing. Concern that among the last things he does in office will be to ask the UN Security Council to issue a resolution calling for a two state solution. That's not land for peace, that's land for nothing.

Disgusting.

One prediction I will make. I remember well the constant mainstream media vitriol non stop bashing of Bush. (Which in 2008 they were attributing at least in part, to Obama winning--he just had to run as the anti-Bush).

They'll do the same re Trump--get ready for four years of it.
