Republican Diversity: Great Liberal Coverup

The liberals want us to believe that the GOP is a party of old white, Christian men, when in actuality, this year proved to be a year of firsts in which many glass ceilings were broken. The left doesn't want you to hear about this because it doesn't fit into their narrative of the GOP being racist and sexist.

Consider Brooklyn. We had many exciting Republican candidates here.

1) Malka Shahar ran against Bill Colton. She is a Russian Israeli Jewish woman, who like most Russian Jews, is staunchly conservative and rode the Trump train. She sadly lost to the DEMOCRAT, an old white man, due to the entrenched Democratic machine.

2) Ramona Johnson, a Republican Conservative black woman, ran against Helene Weinstein. Weinstein, a liberal Reformed Jew, did not deserve one vote from the frum. She's as cold as ice on school choice, abortion, faygelehs, and other issues we care about as a people. She faced fierce opposition from Randy Contello, webmaster of Sheepshead Bites, who also serves on the Democratic County Committee.

3) Rebecca Harary ran for the Assembly in Manhattan's Upper East Side. She is a Syrian Jewish woman who made history as the first religious SY woman in an election in NY. She ran a great campaign, but the elites in her district wouldn't dare go against the Democratic machine. Next time anyone wants you to think Republicans are the party of the rich, just consider that the Upper East Side, all of Manhattan, and Beverly Hills, among the other riches areas in this country, are all deep blue Democrat.

4) Phil Rosenthal, a frum physicist and Ivy League-trained lawyer, ran a fierce campaign against Jerry Nadler. Nadler betrayed his people by voting for the Iran Deal in Congress, and Phil tried to drum up frum support in his bid, but fell short, because the district is heavily gerrymandered in such a way as to exclude the frum and ensure a Republican or conservative Democrat could never win. Why Boro Park and Tribeca are in the same district is a mystery.

In Queens, Grace Meng was challenged by a Filipino American, Danniel Maio. That community came out for Trump, because President Rodrigo Duterte is a huge Trump fan, and a strong leader who is purging his country of drugs and related crime. Trump will clean out the heroin epidemic taking out our young people by the thousands.

5) Kelly Anne Conway broke a huge glass ceiling, as the first woman to successfully run a presidential campaign. She will likely be rewarded with a major Cabinet position.

6) Even for gays, this was a victory. Trump is the first GOP candidate to hold a gay flag, and his victory was in part thanks to Milo Yiannopoulos, the indefatigable Breitbart journalist and Alt Right genius, and Peter Thiel, the openly gay CEO of PayPal. Both should have a place in the Trump Administration.

7) I believe Klal Yisroel is the biggest victor. Trump won 24% of the Jewish vote, which is in par with what other Republicans get. He hands down won every frum neighborhood in Brooklyn and Queens, and also Russian areas (which are Jewish, too). In Williamsburg, Satmar Chasidim defied their community's askanim and power brokers and voted against HRC, sensing who would better serve the Jewish People. This is a major kiddush hashem, and shows that we are a people who vote religiously and morally. Rabbis as diverse as Shlomo Riskin, Shmuel Kamenetzky, and Avrohom Chaim Levine hailed this as a strategic victory or the Jewish People. The happiness and relief from Bibi and Naftali Bennett after these results came in was so animated. A Trump victory ensures that our relationship with Israel, India, Russia, Taiwan, and a post-Brexit UK will be inviolable. The nachas that the Kushner family and Rabbi Haskel Lookstein must be shepping is unbelievable. Ivanka and Jared are a successful account of how making it in America need not amount to assimilation and intermarriage. Trump is a zayde to beautiful Jewish grandchildren who go to Yeshivas Rabbenu Moshe Zevulun (Ramaz), and his other kids are either married to Jews, or dating Jews (Tiffany). I have full confidence that US-Israel relations will be at an all-time high. For so many years, the leader of the free world was Benjamin Netanyahu. Now our countries can be together, b'yachad, once again.

Despite protests and whining from liberals, Jews and women won on election night. This is a shehecheyanu moment for us. This is also a victory for the soldiers and ambassador who were killed in Benghazi, a victory for the women Bill Clinton raped, a victory for Kate Steinle, Jamiel Shaw, and all other victims of illegal immigration, and a victory for the people of Serbia, Haiti, Honduras, and all other countries the Clintons invaded and destroyed.

Globalism and the bankers lost, and the people won. This is a Second American Revolution, and a time for the deplorables to shine.
