I just made challah. I don't usually make it Wednesday night.

Would you freeze it for less than 48 hours?

Will it be OK to leave out (in bags)?

Is it better to leave it out so it never gets frozen?

Looking forward to your insights!!

I would freeze it.

I would leave it out if it was thurs and the kitchen was on the cooler side.

I freeze the challah for shabbos lunch overnight. Yes, it makes a difference.

I always freeze in a freezer zip lock bag and then warm up in oven or on top of hot plate before the meal. Tastes freshly baked.

I actually don't like to bag my Challah until it cools off....otherwise it will sweat and form ice particles in the freezer....
