Does anyone have any idea how to clean a mitt? We bought a couple used but they are filthy inside. Can I throw it in the washing machine? How do I clean the inside of it? Any ideas appreciated!!

If it's real leather you cannot wash it. Saddle soap is usually used to clean that type of leather though I've never heard of anyone cleaning the inside of a mitt. Try using baby wipes and then immediately oiling the leather to prevent drying out.

I wouldn't risk throwing any baseball mitt in the machine. These things aren't meant to be washed. Wipe off the gross filth with a soft rag, clean further with a barely damp cloth, and zehu.

thanks for the ideas! I really cant understand how the inside of a mitt can get so dirty. I guess I'll try a bunch of ways.
