Making an afternoon upsherin on sunday iyh. Will be having about 30 adults and 20 kids, having a lettuce, cabbage, and sesame noodles salad. How many bags of lettuce, bags of cabbage, aND boxes of noodles would I need?
Also doing hor devoures like Frank's n blanks and mini knishhes....how many of those? Thanks in advance!

4 bags of lettuce and cabbage and 3 packs noodles.
10-12 packs of the knishes and the hors deuvres.

IMO
I would calculate 3 children as 2 adults
That means 20 children is like 14 adults
You should prepare for about 44 adults
You can calculate 6-8 adults per pound of food
So a 16oz bag of lettuce feeds about 8 ppl
5-6 bags of lettuce
The same for cabbage
Calculate the same for hor devours about 4 pieces per person per type
