I really need to get off the computer screen for my chill time.
My go-to alternative has been killersudokuonline.com but it's getting a little old.
Looking for something mentally stimulating that can be printed out on paper.
A fun, challenging crossword puzzle would be nice (I used to enjoy the NYT puzzles on Monday and Tuesday. By Wednesday they were always too hard to bother. Then my neighbor stopped getting them and giving them to me...)
But also looking for something different.
I outgrew sudoku, kakuro, and word-finds long ago.
I want something challenging enough to busy my mind and make me feel that satisfaction when finishing it, but doable - like the killer sudoku that you can figure out through logic and just a little guesswork, not something impossibly frustrating.

Have you tried Griddlers? https://www.griddlers.net/home
Not sure how to print them at home, but I'm sure there's a way- I occasionally get hold of a Yisrael Hayom on one of the days that they print them.

I like webpbn.com
They are logic grids that you fill in to create pictures. They can be done online or printed out.

Thanks. It was a bit fiddly to find one that was printable and black-and-white (I'm not sitting around with a pack of markers on the subway or in the...puzzle room) but I did a griddler and it was fun. I feel like it's the type of thing that could get old pretty fast but we'll see.

The word logic grid puzzles got old fast for me. It was interesting to first learn how to do them but once I figured them out, they all feel pretty much the same.

Google djape. He has different puzzles that he created. His books are available on amazon. There are also samples of diff.puzzles that you can print from his website.
