Does anyone have an exact recipe for the milk eggs sugar mixture that the bread gets dipped into when you make french toast?

no ... but I can make one up
challah or bread cut into triangles
2 eggs
3/4 cup of milk
tsp of cinnamon
tsp of sugar
tsp of vanilla
dip on both sides [I don't like soaking or it gets mushy]
fry in pan on medium heat
flip to other side till brownish
serve sprinkled with confectionery sugar
strawberry cut into fan or other decorative tasty berries
and maple syrup on the side

just whisk up some eggs, add a quarter cup milk for every egg cover bread in mixture and fry, I scratch the sugar in the mix, you either way add sweeter on top. top with anything, exp: sugar, jam, sour cream, maple syrup/ honey, fruit and whip...

What lora said.
Exactly.
No sugar in mixture, but add a bit of salt, 1/4 teaspoon to 2 eggs and 1/2 cup milk.
You'll get enough sugar in the toppings.
And if you're going milk-free, water will work instead of the milk, but decrease the amount a little.
