with a fabulous shirt underneath (say a velvet one or patterned silk collared blouse, or any interesting collar... not just a kiki riki), heels, shaitel + makeup, and accessory/clutch, of course. anything can be dressed up.

I've definitely seen jumper dresses at weddings.
I wore won and loved it (especially becuase it made nursing so much easier). The jumper was flowy chiffon with beading, so I just wore a plain shell underneath.
