Tel aviv eruv

We will soon be spending a shabbos in Tel Aviv. I know that there is an Eruv, but I heard different things about it. Is it true, that the beach is not included? Can one still walk on the beach promenade? Is the whole city included, or is there a problem in walking through the city?
