I a junior high teacher and just yesterday they let me know that they are changing my schedule. When I took the job, I said the only condition is that I get the classes that I currently teach. I already had a job lined up and I stuck this into the middle of my day. They are trying to get me to come in later to teach. The thing is that I won't be able to get to my next job on time. They are trying to make it work for me but realistically it won't all the time. I do not have a car so I am dependent on public transportation and in the winter that can get rough.
Any suggestions how I go about this one?
Am I allowed to say that I am leaving ten min early every day when I end late?
Can I tell them I am not teaching that day?
WHat do I do??
