Very helpful thread!
I absolutely love the name Yehuda and have been waiting for a boy so I can use it......and have had 3 girls and just found out that I'm expecting another girl.
Really want something with a similar meaning, but a little more common/English sounding than "Yehudis".

The one that Jewish people name for is apocryphal (Book of Judith), but the name Yehudis/Yehudit DOES appear in Tanach -- as the name of one of Esav's wives (Bereishis 26:34)

Unfortunately, that Yehudis doesn't seem to have been a great person:
