We're planning on making an aliyah in a couple of years. Does anyone know anything about Even Yehuda and/or surrounding areas? There's a possibility that my husband could find a job over there, but I need to know how's the area over there. I'm looking to live in an area that has a mixed of people...israelis & americans and a mixed of observances (mainly modern orthodox) with good schools and just friendly people. We would probably rent out in the beginning, but we can't afford high price rent. Any ideas?
