Where do you find your babysitter? I'm in Flatbush and I am having the hardest time finding a babysitter. My kids come home before I finish work and I'm looking for someone to watch them in my home for the few hours until I get there. We want someone Jewish and I've been posting on many sites and asking everyone I know. Is there no one in Flatbush that works in the morning and is looking for an afternoon babysitting job? I'm coming up empty.

Where do you find your babysitters?
So far I've been posting on luach and facebook. Anywhere else to post?
Any advice appreciated.

My sister had college girls babysit. Posting in Touro is a great idea.

Is hiring someone to do work for you at home before the kids come home an option? There are people available if more hours of work are provided.
Also, reach out to toddler babysitters in your area who babysit for full time working moms. Sometimes they agree to take older children off the bus and babysit them until their moms come home from work. I know a few people who do this option and pick up their school age children from the babysitter on the way home from work.

That's a good idea, I'll post in Touro. I did post in a few local seminaries, I didn't think of Touro.

Someone coming earlier to do housework is an option but I haven't found anyone interested yet.

I know a woman who's looking for a babysitting job.
How many children? Ages? Hours and days you need?
I can pass the info to her.

Can you link the Luach ad?

Thanks for the link.

Unfortunately, the hours won't work.

The woman I had in mind is looking for later in the day (4-6, or 5-7) , and only two hours per day. Seems you need three and a half hours per day.

I hope you find someone soon.
